•h) The Chairman should not have any commercial involvement in microlighting.

o   I do not agree with this, for two reasons:

§  The Chairman’s “bias” can easily be controlled by the balance of the members / committee

§  It limits the opportunity to find candidates for the roles

§  Good knowledgeable persons are found within the commercial operations within the sport

 

In addition nearly all the ex Chairman had a commercial interest in aviation.

·         14. MISASA General Committee:

·         a) The Shadow Committee may consist of one member for each of the Executive Committee.

o   What harm can it do to have as many shadows, (assistance, helpers and volunteers), as are available, or, for that matter, are required from time to time.
