RoundAbout Tours is a small company that is dedicated to service excellence.
We founded the business in 2004, and have extensive travel experience throughout South Africa and neighbouring Namibia and Zimbabwe. We believe that we are in a unique position to give our clients excellent service, through advice based on personal experience or from carefully chosen travel associates. Being small enables us to be extremely flexible in the services we offer – an advantage to our clients.
We use only registered Tour Operators, Guides and service providers.
We go out of our way to ensure that our clients have an enjoyable and memorable experience whilst in our care, and / or using our service providers.
Tours:
We are based in Margate, on the KwaZulul Natal South Coast of South Africa, we specialise in tours throughout KwaZulu-Natal, Drakensberg mountains, Kruger National Park and Hluhluwe/Umfolozi (in KwaZulul-Natal), the midlands, Cape Town, Knysna and the the most beautiful tropical coastline, the Zulu Kingdoms Paradise.
In conjunction with our carefully chosen travel associates, we can extend our tour offerings to any part of Southern Africa (Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Botswana) and beyond. Each of our clients is an individual, with specific needs, and we therefore offer personalised tour packages for individuals as well as "packaged" tours for some larger groups (15-30 pax). We will tailor your itinerary to encompass your specific interests, be they historical, cultural, nature, or adventure, and to fit within your budget.
While our flexibility enables us to "tailor make" any tour to your specific requirements, we specialise in the following areas;
- Drakensberg Mountains - from the famous Sani Pass in the south, where you can have a drink in the highest pub in Africa, to the majesty of the Amphitheatre and the Tugela Falls in the north
- Game reserves - Hluhluwe/Umfolozi, Mkuzi, St Lucia estuary, numerous private game reserves, and of course, Kruger National Park.
- Battlefields of KwaZulu-Natal - wars between the British, Afrikaner and Zulu.
- Cultural and ethnic tours of the KwaZulu-Natal area - Colonial British settlers, Indian emigrants and the indigenous Zulu people
We only use Tour Operators, Guides and Travel Associates registered and credited with the South African Tourism Authority

EXECUTIVE EXCURSIONS all inclusive packages to luxury lodges, with golf, helicopter flips, hot air ballooning, etc.
RESERVATIONS Accommodation, airline, car hire, coach, rail and sea - we can arrange it all for you.
TOURS - we will make all the arrangements for you. With our travel experience in Southern Africa, we can supply you with invaluable information and advice and awesome packages.
SHUTTLE / TRANSFERS We can transport you from anywhere, to anywhere, at any time.
