EMPOWERING WOMEN
Empowering women is t the forefront of this brand. Many global products take advantage of women living in poverty or who are from underprivileged backgrounds by paying them low wages for production and also not giving back to the community in which these women are from.
What this brand can do, Is take into account the various cultural aspects of South Africa, for example the Xhosa tribe, who are traditionally and gifted at basket weaving and creating ethnic jewelry. This would be and an opportune time to use their gifts to empower their communities and we up-sell the products using the Winnie Mandela Signature Collection. The brand aims to create sustainability within communities
especially those that are predominently single household environments. The brand can also use its leverage to get sponsorships to
create initiatives that specially train women in distadvantaged communities to gain specialized skills in the development of and manufacturing of lifestyle and retail products.

Empowering the youth is another aspect of the brand.
